Seraph: Overclock overrides passive MP regen at AP tick

My guy is currently hanging out somewhere regenerating MP before he goes out exploring, and I was expecting his MP to regenerate with 2MP (with Overclock active) + 1MP (AP tick) = 3MP every 15 minutes. However, he's only getting the 2MP from Overclock (despite it not showing up in the log).

Overlock only gives MP per action, not on other ticks. (Like stygian fury?) The 2 mp you got is from the gears passive effect.

That's confusing - it does tick down on status ticks, but doesn't do anything on them. I was expecting it to work like Regenerating, which I suppose does have a subtle difference in meaning (every action vs every status tick), but it sounds like a needless drawback of the ability. If I could move it to the suggestions subforum I would.
