Houston, we have a problem.

As a Pattern Weaver, I do a lot of buybacks. But for reference here are the ones I've attempted in the last two weeks, at least:

- Your Wizard skill Spell Parry, has been removed by the Hand of Fate. The 30 Character Points spent to purchase this skill have been refunded. (2022-08-27 22:36:04).
- Your Sorcerer skill Cosmic Affinity, has been removed by the Hand of Fate. The 30 Character Points spent to purchase this skill have been refunded. (2022-09-02 16:09:22).
- Your Mortal skill Dodge, has been removed by the Hand of Fate. The 10 Character Points spent to purchase this skill have been refunded. (2022-09-04 14:26:41).
- Your spell, Quillfire, has been removed by the Hand of Fate. You have received a refund of 0 CP. (2022-09-05 11:30:04).

I didn't start a separate thread for that last one, because others (viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4072&p=18915#p18915, viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4046&p=18832#p18832) already have, but if they hadn't, I would definitely be starting a thread for that.
Because if you'll notice, once I get the three remaining exploration badges on Nita, I will have a CP Available + CP Spent total that is not evenly divisible by 10.
So even though Repth says the CP is being refunded and it's only a textual misrepresentation, something is definitely very wrong here.

I've been putting the significant majority of my AP and MP towards opening up enough CP to learn all the Death gems I've been borrowing since Iqora idled out, but I didn't realize just how much of a disadvantage I was at. I feel like I'm going to lose my chance at the vacant seat in the Council of Keys because of this...

Actually, what I'm doing is manually granting CP to those who have "0 CP returned" messages, not saying it's purely a textual error. I see a Quillfire refund failed for you - what else, if anything, failed to give you the CP you need? I have refunded Quillfire's 15 CP to you.

Anyway, as I said, my best guess is that something went wrong in attempting the update to Cosmic Affinity ( https://www.nexusclash.com/viewtopic.p ... 485#p18485), since there's still the disparity between 205 and 235 with my Tier 3 CP Spent. I don't know how many other people refunded it after it visually moved to the Tier 2 column (despite awkwardly continuing to cost 30 CP) but I can't be the only one can I?

The 30s are the four non-free Tier 3 skills I have, the 20s are Spike Ring and Fiery Corona, and the 15s are Flame Bolt, Firegout, and Earth Wail.

That's a good observation, hopefully a voodoo code ninja magic dev/admin can look into that!

Happened to me again, figured I'd condense it into the existing thread this time. Necrotic Ray bounced for Scarlet McCrea (1507). Probably going to happen once or twice more, making several different fonts is a unique hell.
