Transcension doesn't override factional based Stygia respawns

I am a Vassal in an evil faction that has never used a Dark Pact, but using Transcension doesn't override the recently implemented factional-based Stygia respawns. This should probably be a way to ensure Purgatorio respawns while in an evil or good faction?
