Hex of Agony and Acid capstone

Whenever Hex of Agony triggers, it bypasses all of the target's defenses. In this case, because no soak is applied, the +4 damage bonus from acid capstone should trigger, yet it does not.
Related to this, there is also no message log entry for the Corruptor when Hex of Agony triggers. This makes sorting through logs a bit puzzling, since damage counts change without any indication as to why.
In these two log entries, the first must be a Hex of Agony proc, the second a regular hit:
