Skill: Brightbow buff (Conduit)

Buff Brightbow by +1 damage and +5% attack

Right now Energy Flare is far better, let's compare:
- Brightbow: 9 arcane damage
- Energy Flare: 9 arcane damage, +10% to hit, inflicts Stunned status effect (-10% attack, -2 damage). Can be upgraded with Nexal Sapping to drain 4mp from the target and give half to the Conduit.
They both cost 1mp to use.

I believe the problem is that years ago Energy Flare used to cost 2mp to balance it out being better. But then it got reduced to 1mp (same as Brightbow was) and now it's just far better without any drawback. Even its combat tree got buffed since now throw weapons is cheaper compared to archery (40cp vs 60cp)

I was trying to think of something creative to buff Brightbow but I think this suggestion is decent enough: brightbow would be a bit stronger and energy flare would have the status/mp shenanigans

I'd like to see Brightbow have an option to deliver damage other than Arcane, perhaps Electricity or Fire. And that in addition to a baseline boost in damage and accuracy. It might also be worthwhile having a 60 CP child ability which illuminates targets on a hit (reduces their defence) or somesuch.

These are good points. In general, it's broadly true that Advocate and Dark Oppressor have ways to break out of their support-class range to deal some serious damage of their own, and this simply isn't true for the Conduit.
