I agree with the reasoning, but I'd make them time based instead, so that regardless of how fast or slow the invisible player is, they can't quickly burn through the no-invis ticks.

You could add to the Invis pot/reveal mini game (of dubiousness):

Glyph of Revealing - characters cannot hide or Invis in this location.

Perhaps exclude void walkers using natural skills from its effects to show some love, although it adds complexity.
