Refillable ala fuel cans from a nearby fresh corpse (once per corpse; blood is NOT a renewable resource!), they let you write messages in blood three (3) times before succumbing to uselessness and taking up space in your inventory that you could cram another food item into.
Also, maybe Revenants could drink them or something.
