Nexus Clash

As a young Dark Oppressor, instead of emotionally blackmailing my factionmates into vassalship; I have taken my message of rightful Stygian Overlordship to the masses and have a quite a few vassals from other factions / ferals.

It would be nice to be able to communicate with these individuals. Currently I can only credit note / faction invite them. I imagine other DOs would like to be able to communicate with their factionmate vassals outside of Faction Announcement or the meta that is Discord.

As such, I suggest the ability to message all Vassals for 10 Dark Power per message. Maybe an option to send 1 person a message for 5 Dark Power? Vassals have no way to reply as theirs is not to question a DOs instruction or guidance.

Places such a skill could sit:

• Sit within the Use Skills Pane as with other Dark Power Skills

• In the same place that Faction wide announcements sit

• On a separate page like a faction page but for DOs that lists other helpful things like a list of Vassals, list of ex-communicated and other Dark Power purchases

• DO are granted a special chalk that they use to write on the wall of a given place and the message fades away and appears to their vassals like a faction announcement

Maybe such a skill could sit with either the 60cp or 90 skills of the Pledge Vassal skill line.

Agree with the general idea but just make it free to send messages and have the entire skill be part of Pledge Vassals.

prol ye, bit of coordination aspect supported in-game would be nice

At the moment, most of the vassal stuff flows upward - it's just the DO who has visibility of what the vassals are up to. The vassals don't really care who their liege is, aside from the priesthood skills. This would be a great step in making it a bit more bi-directional.

Agreed with the above comment that it should be on the cheap side. I think it should cost 1 hp from each vassal, though!

"A message painfully fills your senses - your liege has sent you the following message: xxx" or similar.

This shall allow DOs to dad-joke their vassals into madness.
