Pattern weaver: additional benefit to recharging spells

I think pattern weaver needs a proper niche in the post skill refund world we now live in, to justify not just refunding it as soon as all your gems are done. The no-destruction feature is mediocre. I suggest a straight cost reduction to charging gems, so it synergises with having a lot of gems and leaning heavily on them generally.

* 2/3 MP
* -1 AP

But keep minimum AP of 1.

Potential interactions:
This would mean if you stack buffs, you can get the cost down to 2/3 of the straight cast cost.
So you could potentially charge then cast immediately for 2 AP, 2/3*base_cost+1 MP. This doesn't seem overpowered to me.

How would this interact with the Spellgem Affinity Prayer Result, or the Arcane Lodestone upgrade for Transcended Factions?

The suggestion as written would mean charging gems with an extra buff (like spellgem affinity or arcane lodestone) would cost 1 AP and 2/3 base MP

Didn't recharging spellgems get changed to cost 2 AP base instead of 3 AP, since recharging at 3 AP is just stupidly overpriced?

I see a missing word in the original suggestion, my apologies.

I intended to say 'you could potentially charge then cast immediately for 2 AP, 2/3+1 mp'. That would be 1 ap to charge, 1 ap to cast, in a situation where you have one of the other buffs to charging.
