Patch Notes - 2022 March 31
Posted: Thu Mar 31, 2022 5:53 am
Quality of Life and Interface:
* Confirmation buttons when buying a skill no longer tell you the action cannot be undone since Buyback is now a thing.
Game Mechanics:
* Adjusted Foo Lions rebuilding of fortifications to cost the Foo Lion 2 mp in addition to 5 ap.
Major Bugs:
* CP counts were being handled incorrectly if you knew a spell and variants of this spell existed anywhere in the Nexus. This allowed characters to purchase T3 skills with fewer than 250 CP spent on T1 or T2 skills following buybacks. (Bug thread: https://nexusclash.com/viewtopic.php?p=15219#p15219).
* Incorruptible Vestments works vs Hex of Nullity properly now.
* Aspect of the Ascended and Aspect of the Lion reset to correct durations when renewing now.
* Cloak of the Ineffable Breeze now correctly recognizes that it can bypass Barricades.
* Deep Spellcraft works correctly against stronghold wards now.
Minor Bugs:
* A successful "Reforge in Grace" no longer damages the target pet, no longer provokes a retaliatory attack from the pet, and does remove the Redeemed from the pet's hatelist.
* Removing a bar/trap you set on a Font now properly charges 1 AP instead of 2 (Bug thread: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2721).
* Corrected an issue where Mischievous Imps were not casting glyphs on ward breaks.
* Corrected an issue where following a demon-summoning attempt on less than 6 AP (but more than zero) still didn't work.
* Fixed an issue with Steadfast Sea regeneration.
* Casting Shadow Wrap with Holy Transfer while hidden no longer errors out.
Possibly Fixed:
* Revenants with additional status effects caused by Feeding Fangs losing Enhanced Senses/See Invisible from Bat/Wolf Animus (Bug threds: https://nexusclash.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1705 and viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2718).
EDIT: Clarified CP Count issue (first entry under "Major Bugs"). Revised text has been colored red above. Previous (mis)diagnosis was as follows: "The CP value of a character's initial skill selection was being counted toward their CP spend total when attempting to purchase skills, allowing a character to purchase T3 skills with only 240 CP spent on T1 or T2 skills following buybacks." This misdiagnosis was corrected prior to the patch but the description in the patch notes was not. -- Bob
