Game Mechanics
  • Two new skills for Defiler, Shepherd, Heretic and Pilgrim: Blood Transcription and Gem Refraction. Blood Transcription allows a Defiler or Heretic to distill the magic (and blood) in a corpse into a spellgem containing one of the spells they knew in life, while Gem Refraction allows a Shepherd or Pilgrim to shine the light of Elysium through a spellgem to achieve various effects. Both are 40 CP child skills of Pattern Weaver.
  • Some actions that bring an item into the world and were overlooked before now correctly count toward Items Found stat: Desecration item generation, Ultimate Suffering tears and Snowman loot.
Quality of Life and Interface
  • All Dark Pacts are listed individually in inventory, hopefully resolving an issue where usable Pacts were stacked with unusable Pacts.
  • Enchanted items are stacked separately from non-enchanted ones in inventory now, even if they share other traits.
  • Cleaned up white backgrounds on NPC avatars.
Major Bugs
  • Fixed an issue where faction creation wasn't working.
  • Dead to Sin wasn't cutting off properly when the Redeemed ran out of MP, allowing spending into deep negatives.
  • Fixed an issue that dramatically reduced spellgem combat rolls.
  • Stygian Brutality wasn't actually checking AP totals, allowing spending into deep negatives.
  • Following Dark Oppressor summons now properly cuts font/ley anchors.
  • Fixed an interface issue that was making A Plague Upon Thee unusable.
  • Fixed many issues with Spellgems that were causing bonuses and capstones to not apply when attacking structures such as wards, glyphs and fortifications.
  • Fixed many issues where MP-using actions (mostly attacks) were failing when a Font/Ley made the difference between having enough MP to perform the action and not having enough.
  • Fixed issues where mutation actions on a Wrackwyrm were sometimes failing to pick a mutation due to Wrackwyrm's narrower range of allowed mutations.
  • Arcane Marksman attacks vs wards and other structures should now charge the correct 3 MP instead of 6 MP.
Minor Bugs
  • Harvesting of Clear and Tan Spellgems wasn't working.
  • Resolved an issue where font bar-layers blocked from setting a bar by lack of MP were still deducted the MP.
  • Resolved an issue with Portable Toolkit crafting.
  • Stygian Brutality should now tell bystanders what happened.
  • Fixed some edge cases where some food items weren't sending the right use message to people who ate them.
  • Unsoakable damage is now properly unsoakable by pets with soak.
  • Edge cases where Desecration was done with full AP and had an AP boon result should now provide the AP up to max instead of forfeiting it.
  • Holy Transfer was allowing Shadow Wrap to be cast on characters who were already hidden.
  • Candle of the Soul is now usable vs structures.
  • Liches with Death Mastery saw the wrong damage total displayed in attack dropdowns if they had four or more Death spells learned.
  • Wyrm Masters with Mutagenic Touch were being told their pets had no more applicable mutations one mutation sooner than they actually would run out.
