Wyrm Master can now summon a Viletoad (other names Helltoad, IceToad, Accursed Anura, Cane toad, please suggest some if you have ideas =)

20 MP summon cost
80 AP
50 MP
35 HP

To Hit 45%
Defense 5%
Primary 5 Acid
Secondary 4 Impact

I just kinda threw stats together semi-randomly, the intent is to have something with middling stats and low combat prowess.

So the main thing this toad does is leave a trail of toxic slime behind it. Each tile the WM passes through while having this pet active leaves a Viletoad Ooze (Local) status effect in that area for X hours. Standing on the ooze at AP tick inflicts minor poison for 10 ticks (does not affect the WM, their factionmates and/or the evil-aligned). If the ooze is on a non-evil infused tile, degrades it by n2 every AP tick. If the ooze is on a evil-infused tile, further strengthens it by n every AP tick. If there are non-evil barricades on that tile, deals Y damage to them every AP tick.

I'm not sure how multiple toads should interact but here's a few potential interactions that could work:
  • Multiple slime trails from multiple toads do not stack. A WM cannot reset ooze on a tile until it's duration has run out
  • However another WM from the same faction may reset (or replace) the ooze if they walk over the tile you've oozed
  • A WM from any other faction will replace your ooze if they walk over it
  • Works in reverse for a WM in neutral-factions (degrades evil/holy-infused tiles and strengthens neutral tiles... I'm not sure if neutral-infused tiles are a thing ???)
  • Poisoning effect only works on targets on the outside tile (doesn't affect characters indoors, probably)
  • Ooze can be removed by the Rebalance Area skill
  • Doubles ooze duration if Glyph Mastery is purchased ??

Ooze being strengthened over time by Evil infused tiles seems like a bad idea- pretty quickly Stygia would be completely covered in ooze.

Very cool. Could adjust stats and limit it to 1 summon for an easy solution to the "wat do with multiplies" question.
