Have Baseballs be a findable item at Sporting Goods Stores. Baseball Bats are already a findable item there, so it only makes sense. I think 30 find weight would be reasonable, replacing the find weight of the Truncheon, and 10 each from Baseball Bat and Throwing Knife (so 0 Truncheon/30 Baseball Bat/20 Throwing Knife/30 Baseball).

But what would baseballs do? Throwable "weapon"? Silly sling ammunition? Or just useless junk?

Baseballs already exist as an improvised throwing weapon.

have nixed truncheon/nicked 10 weight out of baseball bat and added baseball at 30 weight for the time being
