Mark of the Assassin damaged a pet and removed invis

The Spy found a lightspeaker in a library, activated invisibility then activated cruelty of the assassin to stab the petmaster but decided to just stab a pet or two instead. When I used mark of the assassin on a judgemaster, it appeared to do damage, removed my invis, and the pet retaliated. Is this a bug or a change I missed and the wiki wasn't up to date?

Next patch this will stop appearing in the attack dropdown vs Pets.
