Transmute not working

New alchemist on my Character ID: 13500. Been researching recipes, but when it comes to transmute I'm not getting the option to transmute any mats in my inventory. I can only do spell gems.

I think that's how the base alchemy skill is, and you need Deep Alchemy to transmute to components of the same rarity or lower.

Repth has it. With only the base skill, you can transmute just spellgems (if a transcend or angel) or Soul Ice (if you're a demon). The second alchemy skill unlocks the full transmute capacity (and a bunch of additional recipes).

Character doesn't have Deep Alchemy, and so the previous answers explain why this is W.A.I.
