Burning as I walked across lava in stygia even with planar protection and the wiki say sI should be immune.

Not a bug, Lake of Fire is a different tile type that having the Planar Protection skill or being a demon does not protect from. This one is intentional.

Fortunately, it's easily avoidable and doesn't stand between you and anything important.
