Nexus Clash

I was in Purgatorio walking in the void. I then moved onto one of the chains then (I may have moved off into the void don't rember) this happened:
"You lose your footing and fall off the chain into the endless void below! Eventually, the Powers take pity on you and your corporeal shell is destroyed! (2022-04-25 13:42:49)."
Is this a bug that VW can fall off the chains into the void?

There was a case back in Nexus War where simply walking on those chains could kill you.

IT was removed, but maybe some bug brought it back?

Standing on Purgatorio chains causes non-transcended to fall.

chain death is intentional, it's the purg replacement for planar damage

I find it odd that VW can walk in the void but risk falling off a chain.

So as long as they kept flying, but flying falls off after 2 ap ticks
It would make sense for VWs (and EHs) to be able to stand (or rather, float over) Purg chains.

having wings should make you immune to purg chains because you wouldn't let yourself fall forever if you could fly

Walking on the void as a Void Walker takes effort and skill. A sufficiently surprising experience, like slipping on a chain, means loss of that effort and a potentially deadly fall.

This is a rare enough scenario as it is and doesn't need more exceptions. Not a bug.
