Nexus Clash

The Gourmand (12808) is attempting to set up a death font, but gets this error message when hitting the final cultivate ground button with death selected:

You cannot create a font aligned to death magic as you are not familiar with this type of magic!

He does know a death spell, so he should be able to set up a font of that element, unless there's some other issue I'm unaware of.

I could not reproduce this on devserver.

I tested this on live and could not reproduce it there either.

Just happened to me too at 40,36 Centrum on Scarlet McCrea (1507). The only thing I can think that's caused it is having a Death-aspected spell on buyback - as I pre-marked the death spell I learned for just this font so that I wouldn't forget. Learning a second Death spell did nothing to change this.

A little miffed, as that's a waste until I can fix it and I didn't want to put a different aspect of font there, but hopefully this helps narrow down the bug.

EDIT 2: Moved related bug to it's own thread just in case they are unrelated, but it at least (to me) feels like a connected problem.
EDIT 3: Last one, I swear. Confirming that the bug still occurred for me when I attempted to create the Font a second time, despite not having a spell on buyback anymore (but still having a Death spell known). So there we go.

Looks like there was an extra step applied to fix this one but it wasn't applied to all cases. I've extended it to multiple use cases and am cautiously optimistic that it'll fix the problem.
