Plague Rat poison ticks Buffs instead of Debuff

Is it a buff for the shambolic infection?
That would make sense, actually. You've got to have deep, profound reserves of strength to keep on marching even after you've literally, medically died. That is after all the BARHAH way isn't it? And this gives you that strength.
So it's not really a bug.
