Project Update: Introducing 5G to Cordillera

Issue: Cordillera was once an advanced space colony that was cutting-edge in technology, innovation and applied sciences. Following a rapid decline in its inter-galactic standing; it has entered a period of stagnation. In an attempt to revitalise the flagging city one bold entrepreneur feels he has the key to unlocking its future through communication technology.
Brief: To implement a staggered roll out of 5G wireless network technology across the city starting with a pilot Mast situated in the Auxiliary Dome of Port Hope. Following successful construction of the Mast and generous funding outcomes from various Cordillera public bodies the project moved onto full roll-out earlier this year.
Project Update: Masts have been constructed in all participating neighbourhoods across Cordillera. Vandalism has been chaotic and impotent. The general population reports excitement that soon they will be serviced by ultra-fast wireless network technologies across all their devices.
Next Steps: Besides the already active Port Hope Mast, each one will be turned on following a final inspection within the next two to three weeks. All residents are invited to pick up a new free SIM to take full advantage of 5G in their area. All service is free to the end user and is being funded by a generous silent partner to the project. Following successful implementation and a period of evaluation the team will conduct feasibility studies into inter-dimensional roll-outs in Elysium, Stygia and Purgatorio.
