Moral inertia mechanics

Few questions about how the momentum inertia works that I tried to ask in discord but they got buried:
-Does a Demon's positive morality shift when attacking Redeemed get reduced by having evil inertia, rendering most pretty immune to tRolldeemed meme stance? If so, petition to have the old mo shift restored for masked redeemed attax, or even reverse it so deeply evil demons are MORE at risk.
-Do morality costs for the sorts of angels who spend morality like some sick, twisted coin, get adjusted based on how much easier it is for them to earn back now? Does spending it count as Evil for inertia purposes?
-A Good or Neutral MO character attack an Imp and gain MO. An evil character loses MO. It is the same actual act, killing a stupid little imp who was totally askin' for it. Does the morality value of the act itself count towards the net inertia? Or is Namm in charge so it's really the person doing it that matters more than what they do?

To answer your questions, in order:
- Currently Redeemed morality shifts for Demons aren’t exempted, and I will look into means to exempt them because your concern is completely correct. Raising MO by attacking a Redeemed as a Demon isn’t the intended use case for Morality Inertia - the ease of fixing one’s morality when it was obviously plummeted to evil deliberately is.
- Spending actions do not count toward the total morality loss for Inertia purposes. Narratively, these actions aren’t evil at all, they’re a matter of calling in favors which runs out of steam eventually unless you do things to continue gaining the goodwill of your angelic patrons.
- Evil-morality acts count toward the inertia total; at certain thresholds, this starts reducing the morality gain of good-morality acts. The inertia total is based on the sum of morality loss in the measured period, not the number of immoral acts. Narratively, this is because Namm (mostly, though some other EPs have a hand in it too) is in charge of it and is smarter than his reputation says. It was previously too easy to slay a gazillion angels and then quickly rocket back to goodness with doors and imp hunting, which seems like a thing that a cosmic force of justice wouldn’t forget about so easily.
As an aside, this morality change and the sinning vs spending morality change were ducks that had to be gotten in order toward the eventual goal of axing Holier Than Thou entirely, because it doesn’t make sense in the new dynamic.

Is the momentum bidirectional? That is to say if you have been mostly quite good and thus have positive inertia score, but you have a peculiar addiction to demonic ice, will it be all the more easy to cover your tracks (so to speak) with a few more good deeds? Or those who have the ability to spend - Channel Virtue has needed a buff i think, anyway - but they are otherwise Nice in the sight of Namm - will their MO recharge faster than for the same acts pre-patch?

As far as I know, the answer is no.

The inertia is one-directional and works solely to make it harder to gain morality after doing a lot to lose morality in a short time. A lot of gaining morality does nothing to make it harder to lose morality.
