Patch Notes - 2022 February 8

Post by BobGeneric »

Quality of Life and Interface:
* The "Display Character" page will now display the option to "Buy Back" spells purchased if the character is associated with your account (others will not see this button). This mechanism works as follows:
  • When you elect to "Buy Back" a spell, you are electing to earmark future XP earned toward the "Buyback." The amount of XP you must earmark is equal to N times the CP cost of the skill where N is equal to 10 if you are under level 20, and N is equal to 15 if you are level 20 or above.
  • Only one spell (or skill) may be earmarked for buyback at a time.
  • Instead of your normal "XP meter" with a note for XP to level, you will instead see "XP to complete Buyback"
  • When you complete the buyback of the skill, it will be automatically removed from your character by the Hand of Fate and the CP spent on the skill will be returned.
* Simplified the summon button for Fossil Monstrosity and Necrophage to fit on the page better.

Major Bugs:
* Animus of the Wolf no longer disables the Bite attack available for basic Wolf form.
* Deactivating Aspect of the Ox or switching to another Aspect now drops any Super Heavy Items carried via Aspect of the Ox.
* Super Heavy Items can no longer be carried into or out of buildings by seeping. You cannot carry a car through a wall, as incredibly cool as that would be.

Minor Bugs:
* Fixed Master of the Lashing Kick giving +3 damage to Soft Strike and Cobra Strike - but in the dropdown this time! gosh
* Fixed Blessing of the Animals improperly rejuvenating pets. ap = max ap sure would be a nerfpet world..
* Fixed Word of Wrath claiming an inaccurate damage amount in its activation text.
* Imperious Demeanor no longer displays as an attack item for some characters.
* The Redeemed skill "Reforge in Grace" now grants XP as though the pet had been killed on a successful hit (analogous to the Corruptor skill "Cut the Silver Cord").
