Soul Ices not appearing in Inventory

My character, Neveah (ID 12179), gained two Soul Ices from two kills that never showed in her inventory.

I couldn't reproduce this bug on devserver.

Your character logs show that you dropped two Soul Ices from your inventory, so they must have been there at some point.

I have the same problem with both Soul and Blood Ice.

I have made a bunch of them, but now when I went to use them, there are none in my inventory.

(2 times) You attack Terentia with your Saber and hit for 7 points of slashing damage. This attack was charged with life-sapping power! You extract 1 Blood Ice from the essences of your target! You gain 7 XP. (2021-12-25 15:02:30).

And I have supposedly gotten some Soul Ice too from kills, but haven't got those either

- Dark energies pulse in the air around you for a moment and then coalesce in your hand. You gain one Soul Ice. (2021-12-25 15:02:36).
- You attack Terentia with your Saber and hit for 7 points of slashing damage. You gain 7 XP. This was enough to kill them! You gain an additional 12 Experience Points! (2021-12-25 15:02:36).

According to my character's log https://www.nexusclash.com/clash.php?op ... r&id=12396 I have gotten 1 Soul Ice, 5 Blood Ice. I have not used or dropped any. And there are none in my inventory.

Hahaa, additional funny business with this bug.

They did not appear in my inventory, but total weight I was carrying went up with 1 each time I extracted a Blood Ice.

So clearly Ice are illegal and must be hidden deep in some orifice.

Case of mysterious missing Ice solved. Without Detect Magic skill, the Ice are shown as Gems. And they are unusable for people without that skill. Even for the Defiler who made them

i'll spare punting this until soul ice (green gem or otherwise) being unusable for alchemy without sense magic is nixed

no such restriction exists on gems (even if you somehow are a sorc without spellcraft)
