When a magic/defense blessing dissipates (and it did something) the advocate gets a message.
Defense:
You sense your blessing on <player> has faded. Aided by the power of your Angelic blessing, <player> soaked X damage and dodged Y hits.
Magic:
(Transcend) Aided by the power of your Angelic blessing, <player> has cast <x> spells from spellgems.
(Spellgem affinity) Aided by the power of your Angelic blessing, <player> has replenished <x> additional spellgem charges. (Or whatever new spellgem affinity does)
In all cases the differential benefit would be amazing but if it’s too hard to calculate (e.g. due to multiple blessings) the total while the player was under the effect would still be awesome.
Alternative:
Though the batching seems preferable if it’s too much work to implement, a message on every relevant action while under a blessing might also work.
Aided by your Angelic blessing <player> dodged an attack!
Aided by your Angelic blessing <player> soaked x damage!
Aided by your Angelic blessing <player> cast a spell from spellgem without expending a charge!
Skills: Advocate notification for defense/magic blessings
Re: Skills: Advocate notification for defense/magic blessings
Strong support for this. My Advocate generally dispenses defensive and magic prayers, so I don't get the Good Chemicals of knowing exactly how I've made a difference. I'd love to see this implemented to rectify that.
