Deatch Anchor doesn't work if Dark Pact with Saria's Last Wish (Desecration, 4 uses) is used

I used an item, Dark Pact with Saria's Last Wish (Desecration, 4 uses), died during live combat and then tried to come back using Death Anchor. Instead of respawning back where I died, I spawned in random Stygian place.

Just tried to respawn using a different Death Anchor, got a random Stygian location again.

Using a Dark Pact causes your next six respawns to be in Stygia, overriding other respawn-related abilities, including Death Anchor, Phylactery, etc. I think that's what's happened here.

Yes, paying Pact debt overrides phylacteries. This is intended, the debt magic is stronger than the phylactery. One is powered by demonic Elder Power magic, the other one by you.

Makes the pact a hindrance with my play style then. That play style being playing badly and dying alot during raids

Although, maybe Stygian Death Anchors should still work. Technically they don't break the pact made.

Liches can tiny bit fool the pact made due to a technicality, and technicalities and loopholes matter since we are talking about deals with devils here.
