Skill: Multiclass

Post by Riss »

Considering that the ranks are growing, I think it would be nice to have some additional ways to spend CP. Hence my proposal for a potential multiclass:
  • You can buy a skills of a different class BUT it must belong to the same T2 branch (so VW can buy an IB skill but not a DO one)
  • it costs DOUBLE the original cp (Tattoo of Adaptation for a Rev? Sure, only 120 cp!)
  • You CANNOT buy the 0 cp skill
Yes, you can have some pretty amazing combination. But they aren't cheap and I can't think of anything particularly OP.

My biggest worry about this would be Spellcraft, such as an IB buying Spellcraft from the DH list etc.
I also worry about the ES buying Tattoo of Wandering Way or Shadow of the Bat, negating his intended weakness of not being able to fly.

Not sure it could ever be balanced properly tbh. Maybe if it costs 3x the CP...

As much as I don't like special cases, I agree that a specific exception can be made for Spellcraft. However with Athleticism on my ES I really don't feel all this need to fly.
Unless barricades are coming back on next breath (the horror! :o ).
