(note that I never used earthquake in a raid situation so I don't know how good or bad it is in practice, but I've seen pwople mention on discord that it's hard to use it cus of the friendly fire)

I think current Earthquake has some problems:
1) uses spell accuracy or 50% whichever is higher, this kinda forces eles to go for the spell tree or accept being less effective
2) hits factionmates (I think it's cool flavor, but might be annoying and discourage people form buying the skill)
3) damage soaked by forts is done to the forts seens a bit weird flavorwise, it means a big faction (with more people getting hit) will take more fort damage and small factions will take less, but aren't the forts equal in every faction since they all max at 500?

Suggestion (numbers can be changed):
1) flat 70% to hit
2) doesn't hit factionmates
3) to compensate for the above two buffs, the damage would be nerfed. My main suggestion would be for forts to be its own target (instead of taking damage from soaked damage) and take a lot of damage, but player/pet damage would be ok or low.
I imagine something like this (assuming max level, formula to be decided):
- 20/200 vs players (or maybe more?)
- 120 damage to forts (random), so 60 damage on average

What do you guys think? Would this make it better or worse?
I personally think the higher hit % and faction-safe buff would be totally worth the lower damage.
