It feels particularly bad for Combination Attack to reset on a miss, particularly on not-too-high accuracies where it occurs very frequently.
Additionally, Combination Attack is affected harder than other similar skills by low accuracy or high enemy defense, as it requires various successive hits for most of its power.
The reset-on-miss mechanic makes it feel like something that's only gonna be strong very late in the game, where the Myrmidon's accuracy is beyond 100%, or against structures.
My suggestion would be to move part of its power from raw damage to something else, such as bonus accuracy, ignoring soaks, chance to critically strike, regaining MP, some big bonus for the final combination strike, ...
