can't see Font on the map after learning spell

I foolishly Wisp'd over to Great Plains before I learned a cold spell and was able to see the Font on the map, but after I had learned a cold spell, while the Font works for enchantment just fine, I no longer see the Font on the map.

The become invisible when they're low on magic/recently been overused, I believe, though I don't know the exact thresholds/triggers
