Ex-Defiler spends doubled HP instead of normal MP for Alchemy

Performing alchemy costs MP as normal, but Transmuting components costs doubled HP as if I were casting a spell.

code-wise 'performing alchemy' is the creation action that gives items, which as far as i can tell is also coded to use hp

alchemy research however is not, though having defiler poison + agony curse + 1 damage per research action would be.. severe to say the least, so perhaps that being left out was deliberate

i don't know if 'bug' is the right term given this was all deliberately coded at some point for ex-defiler

If it helps, transmuting on my LS didn't cost MP (or HP), either.

well if your ex-defiler was a lightspeaker then you'd probably transmute for 10 hp rather than 5 mp 'cause how it's coded

So, to summarize:

Ex-Defiler should spend doubled HP on spells, and does, as the wiki states.
Ex-Defiler should spend doubled HP on Potion Creation and Transmutation, and does, but that is never stated anywhere in the wiki (in fact, the wiki states that Ex-Defilers keep the alchemy skill "with no changes").
Ex-Defiler should spend MP on Research, and does.

Shepherds should spend MP on Transmutation, but do not.

If all the Ex-Defiler stuff is the intended case, it seems there is no bug, but the wiki needs updating.
Bug thread should be changed to address the free Transmutation for Shepherds.
